Goffs Greek School Welcomes Ms. Maria Loi, Head of the Cyprus Educational Mission, for an Inspiring Visit
Goffs Greek School proudly welcomed Ms. Maria Loi, the Head of the Cyprus Educational Mission in the UK, on May 20, 2023, for a special visit that inspired both students and teachers alike.
During her visit, Ms. Loi met with each year group individually, participated in classroom activities, and co-taught lessons alongside our dedicated teachers. She also engaged in meaningful discussions with parent committee members, addressing questions and exploring ways to further support Greek education in our community.
Ms. Loi expressed her admiration for Goffs Greek School’s commitment to promoting the Greek language, culture, and heritage among the younger generation. She praised the students for their enthusiasm, curiosity, and strong connection to their roots.
In her address to the students, Ms. Loi emphasised the importance of education, perseverance, and following one’s dreams. She encouraged every student to take pride in their Greek heritage and to use their education as a tool for positive impact in the world.
