GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2025

At Goffs Greek School, based in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, we are fully committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with the utmost care, in accordance with UK law and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Overview

We have recently updated our Privacy Policy to provide greater transparency about how we collect, use, store, and protect your data, as well as how you can access it. Your personal data is kept safe and secure, and we do not share it with third parties without your explicit consent. We only use your information to provide the best possible service to you and your child(ren), and to communicate with you throughout the school year.

Organisational Relationships

As members of the Greek Parents Association (GPA), our parent organisation, the GPA may request information from us as part of their oversight and support, without requiring additional consent from you. The Cyprus Education Mission (K.E.A.) also supports Greek schools in the UK by supplying teachers. Head Teachers are required by K.E.A. to record all new first-time starters in a securely kept register. While we have sought further clarification from K.E.A. regarding their data practices, this procedure has been standard across Greek schools for decades. Goffs Greek School cannot be held liable for the use of this data by K.E.A.
